Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy

Modern slavery is a term used to encompass slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour, bonded and child labour and human trafficking. Human trafficking is where a person arranges or facilitates the travel of another person with a view to that person being exploited. Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights.

All staff members of Haven Kitchen should be aware of the Modern Slavery Act (2015) which aims to prevent the exploitation of any individual and report any situation where they feel this has been compromised.

Haven Kitchens will employ its staff fairly and consider equality in all situations.

As a company, Haven Kitchens will aim to detect and prevent modern slavery in any situation and comply with the Modern Slavery Act (2015) at all times.

Haven Kitchens will continually review and update business practices and procedures to ensure integrity and that compliance is maintained.
