Our Simple, Seamless Kitchen Design Process

At Haven Kitchens, we make designing your perfect kitchen a smooth and enjoyable experience. By partnering with appliance experts at HBH Woolacotts and some of the best contractors in the area, our aim is to make you journey as seamless as possible to ensure you end with a space that’s both beautiful and functional.

Here’s how we guide you every step of the way with our no-obligation design service:

Step 1: Home Visit
We start with a visit to your home to understand how you use the space. By taking precise measurements and learning about your lifestyle, family needs, and the room’s features, we create a design brief tailored just for you.

Step 2: In-Store Presentation
Once your design is ready, we invite you to our showroom for a detailed presentation. We’ll walk you through your design and cost options, while you explore the perfect appliances with the HBH team. This collaborative process ensures your kitchen design and appliance choices work together beautifully and function perfectly.

Step 3: Design Refinement
At this stage, the Home Visit, initial design and one design refinement is free of charge. Once you’re happy to work with Haven for your kitchen project, this will be confirmed with a 10% Design & Survey Fee which is based on the estimated cost of your project. This will cover the designers time to further refine and enhance the design work and ultimately create your complete kitchen pack.

Step 4: Site Survey
If you wish to use our referral scheme for installation, we will work with the contractor to conduct a final site survey to double-check all measurements and ensure the design fits your space perfectly and also works with the practicalities of the project. As we work with, but separately to our referral partners you will receive two quotes, one from Haven for the kitchen and materials, and one from the contractor for the installation and on-site work.

If you have your own installer and do not wish to use our referral scheme, our designer will handle the technical survey and liaise directly with you.

Step 5: Order Sign-Off
Once you’ve reviewed the final design and appliance choices and you’re 100% satisfied, the order will be ready to be signed off. We will provide a full Acknowledgement pack with all details and at this point delivery dates will need to be confirmed and a 40% Acknowledgement Fee is required, taking total monies paid to 50% of the confirmed order value. With everything confirmed, we’ll be ready to bring your dream kitchen to life.

Step 7: Delivery
We’ll be in contact a couple of weeks before your delivery date to confirm the final arrangements. The remaining 50% balance is required a minimum of 7 days before your delivery date.

Step 6: Delivery to Completion
Your designer will remain closely involved throughout the installation, visiting the site regularly to ensure everything is running smoothly. They’ll answer any questions, address any issues that arise, and make sure the process stays on track. This continued support gives you confidence that your kitchen is being installed exactly as planned, with minimal disruption. From start to finish, we’ll be there to deliver the kitchen of your dreams, overcoming any obstacles along the way.

Installation Process – Kitchen Project Referral Scheme

At Haven Kitchens Ltd., we’re dedicated to helping you create your dream kitchen. While we provide everything you need to design and build your perfect kitchen, we have chosen to work with local contractors on a referral basis instead of offering installation services ourselves.

Here’s why we’ve taken this approach and how it benefits you:

These professionals specialize in kitchen and home improvement projects, ensuring that every aspect of the job is done to perfection. Furthermore, our contractors can complete all variety of works as we believe it’s a better experience to have one team managing every aspect of your project.
2. Flexibility & Choice
   We want to give our customers the flexibility to choose an installer who suits their needs and budget. The contractors we work with offer a range and variety of services and should you require, we will endeavour to work with you to find the right contractor. Whether it’s a simple kitchen fit or a full extension our list of preferred contractors will be to assist with any project.
3. Transparent Costs
   By separating supply and installation, we keep pricing clear and transparent. You’ll know exactly how much you’re spending on materials and installation without hidden charges or either party trying to put an extra margin on. This allows you to budget effectively and avoid surprises.

   Should you decide to work with one of our referred contractors we will work closely with them throughout your project to ensure everything runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible. This includes meeting on site prior to signing off your kitchen to ensure all practicalities are considered as well as having open lines of communication during the project.
